Warm, thoughtful and pragmatic
I’m Lucy, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. Before training as a counsellor, I spent many years living abroad and raising my family in different countries. I know what it is like to start again, settle into unfamiliar places and find your way through significant changes.

I work online with individual adults. People come to me with grief, anxiety, relationship difficulties, the impact of adoption and questions about identity, or simply a feeling that something no longer seems quite right. I am warm and thoughtful, but also pragmatic. I will ask questions that help us get beneath the surface. I am a BACP Accredited Member and am currently training as a clinical supervisor.
Why grief and loss matter to me
My interest in grief and loss is both personal and professional. I was adopted at birth, so in some ways loss has been part of my family story from the beginning, long before I had the words to understand it. The loss of important people at different points in my life has deepened that understanding and led me to think more about how grief affects us, how it changes over time and how we learn to live alongside what cannot be changed. This personal experience, together with my training and work as a counsellor, informs the way I support people facing bereavement, loss and significant change.
